They are hand washed and then meticulously hung to air dry. Nearly 100 days of curing and aging results in a perfectly balanced, mellow, lightly-salted country ham that is a true gourmet delicacy. Old Southern WayCo Country Hams:Using the same methods as with the Old Waynesboro Hams, the Old Southern WayCo Hams are aged for a longer period of time, giving them a slightly more intense country ham flavor. They are then smoked for hours over hickory chips for a natural, lightly smoky aroma. Available cooked or uncooked, whole or ½ ham, and bone-in or boneless.
WayCo Honey Cured, Spiral Sliced Hams:Cured with pure, natural honey and seasonings, WayCo's honey hams are then slowly steam cooked for up to 8 hours to maintain flavor and moisture. The hams are then individually hand glazed with our signature glaze of brown sugar and seasonings, and spiral sliced for ease of serving. Available whole ham bone-in, whole ham boneless, or half ham bone-in.
